		<description>As qouted above Weyand said  Westy just  dosent  get it .The war is unwinnable and we should find a dignified way out.   Its too bad that the good general didnt follow up on this and blow the cover on the war. Your anonomous quoting of the general kept the war going also. The year I spent in RVN 67-68, as an interrogator with the 525 MI Brigade, 14,000 Americans died and maybe at least 100,000 Vietnamese, a lot of them civilian. The following years of the war another 15,000 or so US died and 100,000s of Vietnamese. You and the generals silence share in responsibility for this carnage. The media and the generals followed suit in Iraq and Afghanistan-the media for being lap dogs of the administation and the generals going along to get along. There is no accountability in this country. The beat goes on.</description>
