		<description>I saw this yesterday. It annoyed me then, but I decided to ignore it. Today I am even more annoyed so I respond thus:

Seems unimportant what turned McNamara against the war. The Morris documentary is McNamara&#039;s legacy, clearly as a penitent. He plainly admits his mistake, but further turns the experience into lessons filled with great insight about the nature war. It&#039;s evident that Mr. Fromson either did not see the film or has forgotten it.

It&#039;s nice to trip down memory lane and recall with a wink the Edsel. But McNamara deserved better than the arrogantly simple-minded assertion that he was flawed. You could, of course, substitute the name McNamara for anyone in history in that case</description>
